CHE*SUDAKA officially founded on March 15, 2002, is the successor of the band CORRECAMINOS from Mar de Plata ( Argentina ), in which LEO and LUCKY played.

At that time the musicians were mostly performing in trains of the local Cercanía, in streets and squares in and around Barcelona. After the release of the sampler " LA COLIFATA " ( 2002 ), which included their song " SIN PAPELES ", the band started with various musicians from the barrio and without a fix line-up to record songs for the first album, which was released in 2003 under the title " TRIPI TOWN ".
In October 2002, KACHA and MARCELO joined the band. During that time the band also became acquainted with the collective of RADIOCHANGO, which assisted with the album-release and promotion as well as the Release Tour 2003 in Spain, Belgium, Italy and France.
In October 2003, the cooperation with GAMBEAT ( RADIO BEMBA, FRENCH LOVERS ) began and he worked as artistic producer for both the live show and for the second album " ALERTA BIHOTZA!!! " (2005). This album defined a " before and after " in the band's history, since it required disciplined work eight hours a day over almost one and a half year.
It also marked the moment when SERGIO and JOTA joined the band and thus an explosive cocktail of Reggae, Ska, Punk, Hip-Hop and Rumba emerged, sung in seven languages (Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Basque and English). Additionally the band started to tour across Europe regularly.
In 2005 the first Germany tour took place, 19 concerts in 21 days. After the tour LUCKY left the band, but shortly thereafter, CORDOBA joined in as a new permanent band member.
Che Sudaka are touring and touring, always with the same attitude. They play un-plugged, amplified, in bars, streets, clubs and festivals with 50,000 people ... the aim is to play and to get ahead!
On the rare days without concerts, the band began to record the accoustic set, which they always had with them from the very first moment, but never was recorded. Within three days the references were captured on tape. In addition the band took over the artistic production of the compilation “A PER LOCA” (2006), which presented groups from Galicia.

The year 2006 ended with a total of 120 concerts in the tour diary and a successful tour across Germany, Austria and the Netherlands that even surpassed the previous one: 32 concerts in 40 days! But as if this was not enough, in January 2007 the band decided to fulfil one of their biggest dreams: a tour in Argentina:
Within 25 days 17 concerts were played and 7000km were driven... which was good for the spirit of the band.
Back in Europe, the last tweaks were done to the acoustic album “ MIRANDO EL MUNDO AL REVÉS ” which was released in 2007 in combination with a DVD about the band, produced by MARTA PUJOL.
The album includes collaborations by AMPARO SANCHEZ ( AMPARANOIA ), KARAMELO SANTO, UN KUARTITO, SELECTOR MATANZAS and many other friends. Recorded acoustically, the album was primarily meant as a protest against the municipal ban on street music in Barcelona.
The subsequent release tour is extensive, so the year 2007 counts 140 concerts in Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary and Argentina.
In their free time the band additionally produced the benefit compilation " ESPERANSAHARAUI " (2007), in collaboration with PABLO BONAT and RADIOCHANGO.COM, which brings together more than twenty bands and is dedicated to support the people of the west Sahara.
The year 2008 is pathbreaking again for CHE*SUDAKA. The band is invited to the presentation of the music-documentary series " PAPA’S KAPPSÄCK " in January, produced by Swedish National Television, in which they were featured alongside other artists from Barcelona. The presentation includes concerts in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmo, with the collaboration of DANIEL “ DEE PAPA ”, the presenter of the series.
Back in Spain, the band presented the compilation ESPERANSAHARAUI in the Madrid club “Taboo”, which was a great party and a step forward for the Saharaui project.
In 2008 the band made another big step forward with MARKUS “ROGUE” ROGOZINSKI joining as manager.

The summer tour of the same year started in May and took till October, with shows in Spain, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Sweden, including festivals like LOWLANDS, BAM, SZIGET, MMVV, ZAIDIN ROCK, SOL Mestizo, KILOMETROAK and many more...
In October Che Sudaka played in BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, in co-production with BONDI CAVERNICOLA, RADIO ROOTS, LA CANDELA RUMBA SAMPLER, LA VECINDA and many other friends. The band took part in one of the most emotional events in their history: “LA RUMBA COLIPARTY”, a benefit concert for LT22 RADIO LA COLIFATA. The party became a big success.
After their return, GOGOL BORDELLO invited CHE*SUDAKA to take part in their Spain-Tour as support act. Three memorable concerts were the beginning of a close friendship between the two bands.
Three unforgettable concerts were the start of a solid friendship between the two bands. The year 2008 ends with 121 concerts on the tab.
The year 2009 started with the preparation for the new album “ TUDO É POSSIBLE ”, once more in cooperation with GAMBEAT as producer. In January MARCELO left the band after 6 years. Mister ANTHRAX (DISCÍPULOS DE OTILIA) joined the band as drummer for the upcoming tour through Germany, Holland, Denmark, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Switzerland and Sweden. The Tour became a tremendous success.
During the year 2009, the band continued to work on the new album and the bonus DVD, toured continuously through all previous countries, plus England (WOMAD FESTIVAL) and for the first time Canada!
The fourth album "TUDO É POSSIBLE" was released in October 2009 on KASBA MUSIC, in co-production with the band's own label " CAVERNICOLA RECORDS ".

In terms of music, TUDO É POSSIBLE pushes the ideas behind their previous records forward, mixing the power of “ ALERTA BIHOTZA ” (2005) with the warmth of their most acoustic release to date, " MIRANDO EL MUNDO AL REVÉS ” (2007). The album contains 14 fresh tracks that are within the range of traditional songs .... ska .... rock... reggae.... cumbia.... hip-hop and an odd touch of country, always performed with the high energy they acquired as street musicians. All that enhanced by guests such as B-NEGAO, MERI LOPEZ ( COSTO RICO ), MADJID FAHEM ( RADIO BEMBA ), BRUNO ( SUPERAMAZOO ), JAIME ( PA’LO QUE SEA ), and a final speech by FACUNDO CABRAL, among other friends who take the musical project even further...Additionally TUDO É POSSIBLE comes with a DVD documentary by CARLOS LARRONDO (director of LT22 LA RADIO COLIFATA)
TUDO É POSSIBLE entered the European World Music Charts at number 15 in November 2009, and was selected by the Spanish Music Mag MONDO SONORO as the 5th best national album 2009 in the category World Music!
During their European record release tour from October´09 to March 2010, CHE*SUDAKA rocked the audience in 56 cities in 10 countries and sold out several venues.
In July 2010 TUDO É POSSIBLE was awarded by the Unión Independiente Fonográfica ( UFI ) in Spain, for the best album in the category World Music 2010. After its nomination by the professional jury, the album was declared winner by the audience.
Moreover a new project appeared on the scene: the collective of BONDI CAVERNICOLA ( Buenos Aires ) started to write a book which tells the story of CHE*SUDAKA as a completely independent and self-governed band.
After a packed festival-summer 2010, including an invitation to perform in Rumania for the very first time, CHE*SUDAKA will hop on the tour-van again in January 2011 and call its international fan-base to the next sweaty party!
In summary, 8 years on tour ... 850 concerts ... 4 albums released and various compilations and collaborations ... and with the spirit still alive to shout out everywhere: "ARRIBA LA VAINA HASTA KE CHOKE CHINA KON AFRIKA!!!!"
